The Daily Aggregate

These drawings were created by splicing together two daily news headlines to form a new one. After years of engaging with this process, I observed how daily exposure to news aggregation sites influenced the quality of information shaping the work. The headlines were collected on the same day—often from the same source—and crafted to evoke a sense of truth. They play with that moment of recognition when something feels accurate, even when we know, undeniably, that it isn’t.
