Lightwork

Lightwork is a series of digital assemblages created from photographs of light—fragments captured in fleeting moments of euphoria, often at festivals or live music performances. These glowing remnants are reconfigured into new visual forms, transforming ephemeral flashes into radiant, layered compositions. The title Lightwork gestures both to the visual medium and to the language of spiritual consumerism—the so-called “lightworker”—while simultaneously celebrating the emotional charge of collective bliss. In this series, Lewis explores light as both subject and symbol: a conduit for memory, energy, and transcendence. These works reflect the beauty of shared experiences, inviting viewers into a space where joy and ritual converge in digital form. Lewis is currently looking for opportunities to adapt this body of work for projection.
